Roses

I love roses for the reason that they will grow year round.  They survive even the worst drought in the Shingle Springs area.  I love the smells, colors and most women or even men love roses.  They flower from spring through fall.  We have 4 colors, light pink, pink, yellow and red.  The flowers don't have much of a fragrance, but the long tapered elegant buds open to display double, high-centered to clear blooms that are about 5 to 6 feet tall so I cut and trim most of them before summer begin.  Now they are starting to produce new flowers.
