Tossing and turning at night? Cherries are a good source of melatonin. They have also been found to help with jet lag. Aside from that they are delicious, love the color and in season now! When you eat cherries, you enjoy much more than just their amazing taste and not only that they’re packed with antioxidants and offer many health benefits, including help with insomnia, joint pain and belly fat. I have read that Alzheimer’s Association includes cherries as one of the memory boosting food because they are rich in antioxidants.
